Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

Experience:

• Typically 3–5 years of accounting experience

• Construction or project accounting experience and familiarity with accounting software are preferred.

• Timely completion of reconciliations and closing tasks.

• Completeness of supporting documentation and audit trails.

• Compliance with financial controls and reporting deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Task Breakdown: 

• Maintain project accounting records, ledgers, journals, and supporting documents in accordance with company procedures.

• Record and review transactions and ensure correct coding, authorization, and supporting evidence.

• Prepare account reconciliations, trial-balance schedules, and periodic financial reports as assigned.

• Monitor payables, receivables, advances, petty cash, and project expenditure; follow up on outstanding balances.

• Support budget monitoring, cash-flow reporting, month-end closing, and audit preparation.

• Review invoices and payment documentation for completeness and compliance before processing or submission.

• Maintain organized, confidential, and audit-ready financial records and report discrepancies promptly.
