Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated female Accountant to join our team in Addis Sefer, Kality, Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, process financial transactions, and assist with financial reporting and reconciliations. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with 0–2 years of relevant work experience who are eager to develop their accounting skills and contribute to the organization's financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, including journals, ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and expense summaries.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with invoice processing, payment preparation, and expense tracking.
• Organize and maintain financial documents for easy retrieval and auditing.
• Support tax documentation and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Work Experience

• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in accounting may be considered.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• English is mandatory
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
• Honesty, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
