Alhiw Trading PLC invites qualified and experienced applicants to apply for the position of Production and Raw Material Control & Information Officer. The company is seeking a detail-oriented professional to monitor raw material usage, production performance, warehouse inventory, and sales data while providing accurate reports to support operational efficiency and management decisions.

Position: Production and Raw Material Control & Information Officer

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in one of the following fields:

• Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Production Technology, Production Management, or Production Control.
• Inventory Management or a related technical field.
• Accounting, Management, or Data Analysis with additional production control experience.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in production data management, raw material control, warehouse monitoring, production reporting, or related fields.
• Experience in a steel factory or manufacturing company is an advantage.
• Experience preparing daily and monthly reports is required.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to calculate production yield, percentages, and waste figures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data reconciliation skills.
• Ability to review warehouse receiving and issuing documents.
• Good communication, adaptability, and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile raw material receipts, consumption, and remaining stock.
• Monitor production output, material usage, and production yield.
• Track by-products, scrap materials, and production waste.
• Identify discrepancies between production records and warehouse inventory.
• Collect and reconcile sales, production, and stock movement data.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
• Analyze production efficiency and recommend improvements to reduce waste.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Quality Control departments.

Salary: Attractive, based on the company’s salary scale.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa.
