Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, plans, elevations, sections, details, and presentation drawings in line with the project brief and applicable building requirements.

• Develop and revise architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Archicad, or other relevant design software.

• Coordinate architectural drawings and design details with structural, civil, electrical, plumbing, and other engineering disciplines.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to check that construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, and design intent.

• Review shop drawings, material samples, and technical submissions relevant to architectural works, and raise issues for resolution.

• Support preparation of quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, material schedules, specifications, and other project documentation.

• Identify design clashes, construction issues, and discrepancies between drawings and site conditions; propose practical solutions and report them to the project team.

• Ensure appropriate consideration of building functionality, accessibility, safety, aesthetics, sustainability, and efficient use of space.

• Maintain accurate drawing registers, revision records, meeting notes, and other architectural project documents.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to support timely and quality project delivery.

• Monitor architectural work progress and report delays, quality concerns, and required corrective actions to the responsible project personnel.

• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of architectural design, working drawings, and construction documentation.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of ArchiCAD and SketchUp is an advantage.

• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other project professionals.
