Architect- Furniture & Interior Design

HENCA Wood Works & Furniture is looking for a creative, detail oriented, and technically skilled Architect with experience in Furniture and Interior Design to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design custom and built-in furniture, including kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, TV units, office furniture and other

·       Develop 2D drawings, 3D models, realistic renders, specifications and production details

·       Select and specify materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories based on design, functionality, and production requirements

·       Develop furniture from concept through production and installation, ensuring designs are functional, refined, accurate, and production ready.

·       Develop interior concepts, space plans, furniture layouts, and interior details, including site measurements and coordination with production and installation teams

·       Prepare client presentations and design proposals, communicate with clients, incorporate feedback, and ensure the final work meets approved design and quality standards

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Architecture

·       Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in furniture and interior design

·       Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp; knowledge of 3D visualization software is an advantage

·       Strong understanding of measurements, proportions, material applications and production processes

·       Ability to develop detailed, accurate, and production ready furniture designs and technical drawings from concept through production and installation

·       Creative, detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

·       Good communication and coordination skills with clients, workshop personnel and project teams

·       Furniture and interior design portfolio is required.
