Our company builds custom websites, booking systems, POS systems, and dedicated takeaway solutions for restaurants and small businesses.

We’re looking for a Client Onboarding & Implementation Intern to learn and handle the technical setup and implementation of new and existing clients.

This is a full-time, on-site internship at our office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The internship salary is 10,000 ETB per month. Interns who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and the ability to handle implementation tasks independently can progress to a Client Onboarding & Implementation Officer position with a salary of 30,000 ETB per month.

This is not primarily a client communication or customer support role. Our Client Support & Success team communicates with clients, understands their needs, and passes implementation requirements to you. Your role is to turn those requirements into working solutions.

What you'll do

• Build and customize client websites using WordPress.

• Turn client information, branding, content, and requirements into professional websites.

• Make changes and improvements to existing WordPress websites based on tasks from the Client Support & Success team.

• Set up new clients in our booking, POS, and restaurant takeaway systems.

• Learn how the company's different systems work and how they should be configured for different businesses.

• Assist with the technical side of new-client onboarding and implementation.

• Manage and complete onboarding and implementation tasks through our CRM.

• Test websites and system configurations before handover.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues with guidance from the team, gradually becoming more independent.

• Work with the Client Support & Success team when requirements need clarification.

• Create short tutorial videos when required, including screen recording, basic editing, and subtitles.

• Learn new company features and tools and understand how to implement them for clients.

• Gradually take ownership of more complex implementation tasks as your skills develop.

What we're looking for

You don't need extensive professional experience, but you should have a strong interest in WordPress, websites, technology, and digital systems and the ability to learn quickly.

You should have:

• Basic to good WordPress skills and hands-on experience creating or modifying websites.

• A good understanding of websites and digital tools.

• A good eye for design, layout, usability, and detail.

• The ability to learn new software and systems quickly.

• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate problems.

• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.

• Ability to work from a task list and meet deadlines.

• A responsible attitude and willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve.

• Basic video recording/editing skills or willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Previous WordPress projects — professional, freelance, university, or personal.

• Experience using a CRM.

• Experience with booking systems, POS systems, e-commerce, or similar platforms.

• Basic UI/UX or web-design knowledge.

• General comfort with software and technology.

• Experience with basic design or video-editing tools.

• Additional languages beyond English, particularly Arabic or Tigrinya.
