COTTI COFFEE ETHIOPIA ONE MEMBER PLC is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as a Coffee Q-Grader / Coffee Quality Control Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coffee sampling, quality testing, sample retention, and monitoring coffee loading and container stuffing processes to ensure that coffee quality and operational

are properly maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling for each batch of coffee received or prepared for shipment.
• Perform coffee quality assessments, cupping, and other relevant tests to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
• Properly label, record, and retain coffee samples for traceability and future reference.
• Monitor and follow up on coffee loading and container stuffing activities to ensure that the correct coffee batches are loaded and that quality requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate records of sampling, testing results, retained samples, and loading activities.
• Coordinate with relevant teams, suppliers, and logistics personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Identify and report any quality issues or irregularities and assist in taking appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform other related quality control duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidates holding a valid Coffee Q-Grader certificate or other relevant professional coffee quality certification will be given priority.
• Candidates without professional certification but with a strong willingness to learn and develop their coffee quality assessment skills are also welcome to apply.
• Relevant work experience in coffee sampling, cupping, quality control, or coffee export operations is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, a high sense of responsibility, and good organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and work in a dynamic operational environment.

Candidates with relevant work experience or professional certifications will be given preference. Applicants who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and develop their professional skills are also encouraged to apply.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly net salary: ETB 15,000–50,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and professional skills.
• The final salary package will be discussed and determined during the interview.
