Construction Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking qualified and experienced Construction Managers to oversee and coordinate construction projects, ensuring that all activities are completed efficiently, safely, on schedule, and within the approved budget. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising construction operations, coordinating project teams, monitoring progress, managing resources, and ensuring that work complies with approved plans, project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from commencement through completion.
• Coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed according to approved schedules and budgets.
• Supervise construction workers, contractors, subcontractors, and other project personnel.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with architectural drawings, engineering designs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve project-related issues.
• Monitor the use of construction materials, equipment, labor, and other resources to promote efficiency and minimize waste.
• Ensure that construction activities meet established quality standards and applicable building regulations.
• Implement and monitor workplace health and safety procedures to maintain a safe construction environment.
• Identify potential project risks, delays, and challenges and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates, challenges, and resource requirements to management.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality expectations.
• Perform other construction management duties as assigned.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

Work Experience

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in construction management.

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong project planning, coordination, and management skills.
• Ability to monitor construction progress, budgets, schedules, and resource utilization.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, project specifications, and quality control procedures.
• Understanding of construction safety standards and applicable building regulations.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, team supervision, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
