Electro-Mechanical Technician

SCEPTO IMPORT PLC is looking for a skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in generators, inverters, solar panels, and water pumps and will be able to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators, inverters, solar PV systems, and water pumps.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and provide effective technical solutions.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and servicing of equipment.
• Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support to customers.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures and company technical standards.
• Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure proper customer support.
• Perform other technical duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
• You are required to be flexible with your working schedule and may be required to work on weekends or other days off when necessary to meet project requirements and the operational needs of the company.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: TVET Level III or IV / Diploma in Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven practical experience in the following sectors:

⚡ Generators

🔋 Inverters

☀️ Solar PV systems

💧 Water pumps

⚙️ Electro-mechanical equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Hands-on technical and field experience.
• Good customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose both electrical and mechanical problems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of solar system installation and maintenance is an advantage.
