Position: Finance Head (Senior Accountant)

About Us

DOT Construction is a growing construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality building and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and highly skilled Senior Accountant to take on the leadership role of Finance Head.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and lead the daily financial, accounting, and treasury operations of the company.

* Prepare, analyze, and manage annual budgets, cash flow projections, and project forecasts.

* Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and executive reports.

* Monitor project cost accounting, material expenses, subcontractor pay applications, and cost-control systems across all job sites.

* Ensure strict adherence to local taxation laws, regulatory compliance, statutory filings, and external audits.

* Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounts.

* Establish and enforce strong internal financial controls, policies, and risk management procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Education: BA Degree or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.

* Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10+ years of relevant accounting and financial management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory role.

* Industry Background: Prior experience in the construction, contracting, or real estate sector is strongly preferred.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.

* Competencies: Strong understanding of construction job costing, tax regulations, audit preparation, leadership, and analytical decision-making.
