Furniture village plc looking for a creative and detail-oriented furniture designer to join our sales & production team. You will conceptualize, sketch and develop innovative furniture pieces from initial idea to prototype and final production.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop accurate technical drawings, cut lists, and material specifications.

Translate creative briefs and customer requirements in to functional, market - ready furniture designes.

Produce detailed 3D CAD drawings, renderings, technical shop drawings for production.

Select materials, finishes, hardware, and fabrics that align with budget and quality standards.

Collaborate closely with sales, production and suppliers.

Trouble shoot prototyping and assembly issues.

Stay updated on interior designs, ergonomic standards, and market furniture trends.

Soft skills

Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools(e.g. Auto CAD, Solid Works, Rhino, SketchUp) and rendering software.

Technical knowledge

Strong understanding of wood types, upholstery, joinery methods, metal fabrication.
