Job Summary
The Import and Export Operations Officer will manage and coordinate import and export activities, ensuring the timely processing of shipments, accurate documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with relevant trade regulations.Key Responsibilities
Coordinate import and export shipments from initiation to final delivery.
Prepare and manage shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.
Follow up on customs clearance, permits, and other regulatory requirements.
Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customs agents.
Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain accurate records of import and export transactions.
Monitor shipping costs and assist with logistics planning.
Ensure compliance with applicable import and export regulations.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 2-6 years of experience in import and export operations, logistics, or international trade.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and import/export regulations.
Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
