Duties & Responsibilities: - Assists the Internal Audit Section Head in planning, organizing and carrying out the internal audit functions including the preparation of an audit plan which fulfils the responsibility of the Section; - Assists the Section Head report to the management and Board of Directors on the policies, programs and activities of the Section’s; - Reviews and reports on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of the financial and other information that is provided for management for branches in the region;

The Ethiopian Dermatology and venereology Society (EDVS) seeks to hire a qualified and licensed Internal Auditor to strengthen the association’s financial transparency, accountability, internal controls, and operational quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect and review the association's financial and accounting processes.

• Examine income and expenditure documents, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial records.

• Monitor and ensure that the association’s funds and assets are properly protected and utilized.

• Evaluate internal control systems and propose recommendations for improvement.

• Monitor the association’s procurement, payment, cash handling, and asset management processes.

• Assess compliance with the association’s financial policies, internal guidelines, and applicable laws.

• Identify financial risks and propose appropriate solutions.

• Prepare periodic audit reports and present them to the association's management/board.

• Follow up on the implementation of recommendations given in previous audits.

• Work with management to improve the transparency and accountability of the association's financial operations.

• Exercise financial control over projects, meetings, congresses, and other major financial activities undertaken by the association.

• Act as a financial advisor to the association's leadership when necessary.

• Strong ability to prepare audit and financial reports.

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, neutrality, and professional ethics.
