Property Manager

We are seeking a responsible, experienced, and service-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and overall management of the company's resort and building facilities. The successful candidate must communicate very well in Oromigna (Afaan Oromoo), particularly the Kube dialect, as this is the primary requirement for the position.

The Property Manager will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, supervising employees, maintaining the property and its facilities, ensuring cleanliness and security, and providing efficient services to management, employees, and guests as applicable.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

·         Manage the daily operations of the resort and the company's building facilities.

·         Supervise and coordinate employees responsible for cleaning, maintenance, security, gardening, and other property-related services.

·         Communicate effectively with local employees, service providers, and other stakeholders in Oromigna (Afaan Oromoo), particularly the Kube dialect.

·         Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper upkeep of buildings, rooms, grounds, and common areas.

·         Monitor maintenance requirements and coordinate timely repairs and servicing.

·         Oversee the proper use and maintenance of furniture, equipment, utilities, and other company assets.

·         Monitor supplies, inventory, and property-related expenses and maintain accurate records.

·         Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and service standards.

·         Prepare regular operational reports and promptly report problems to management.

·         Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

1. Language Skills — First Priority

·         Must speak Oromigna (Afaan Oromoo), particularly the Kube dialect, very fluently.

·         Must be able to communicate effectively with local employees and stakeholders in the required dialect.

2. Educational Qualification

·         Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

3. Work Experience

·         Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience in property management, hotel or resort operations, facilities management, or a related position.

Required Skills and Competencies

·         Strong leadership and employee-supervision skills.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Good organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

·         Knowledge of property maintenance, cleanliness, security, and facility operations.

·         Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently.

·         Honesty, accountability, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
