Education

- Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience

• At least 2–3 years of relevant purchasing or procurement experience.

• Experience in supplier negotiation, quotation analysis, purchase order processing, and procurement documentation.

  Roles and Responsibilities

1. Purchase Planning: Receive purchase requests from departments, verify requirements, and prepare purchasing plans according to operational needs.

2. Supplier Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and maintain a database of reliable suppliers and vendors.

3. Quotation and Price Comparison: Request quotations, compare prices, assess quality, and negotiate favorable purchasing terms.

4. Purchase Order Preparation: Prepare and process purchase orders after obtaining the required approvals.

5. Supplier Management: Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and monitor their performance regarding price, quality, delivery, and service.

6. Delivery Follow-up: Ensure purchased items are delivered on time and in accordance with approved specifications.

7. Quality and Quantity Verification: Coordinate with the storekeeper or requesting department to verify received items against purchase orders and delivery documents.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchase requests, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and supplier agreements.

9. Cost Control: Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring the required quality and avoiding unnecessary expenditure.

10. Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with the store and relevant departments to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.

11. Policy Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities follow company policies, approval procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

12. Payment Coordination: Submit complete purchasing documents to Finance and follow up on supplier payments when necessary.

13. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, pending orders, supplier performance, procurement costs, and savings.

14. Ethics and Confidentiality: Maintain transparency, avoid conflicts of interest, protect confidential information, and prevent unauthorized purchasing.

15. Other Duties: Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
