What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Task Breakdown:

• Manage procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, services, and subcontracted packages to achieve value for money, quality, timely delivery, and procedural compliance.

• Develop procurement plans and schedules in coordination with project, engineering, stores, and finance teams.

• Manage sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders, and contract documentation.

• Review specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and commercial terms with technical stakeholders.

• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, market conditions, and procurement risks.

• Ensure procurement files, approvals, bid evaluations, and audit trails are complete and compliant.

• Support supplier development, cost-saving initiatives, procurement reporting, and resolution of delivery disputes.

What We’re Looking For

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

• Relevant professional certification is an advantage.

Years of Experience: Typically 6–7 years of procurement experience, including responsibility for significant purchases or construction project procurement.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary as per company salary scale.

Work Location: This position is based at assigned project office, with travel to project sites as required. (Bahir Dar, Jima, Hawasa, Benishangul, Bure, Bonga)
