Yoha Soap and Detergent PLC invites qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the Storekeeper.
Position: Storekeeper
Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and other supplies.

• Verify delivered quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery documents.

• Organize and store materials properly to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.

• Issue materials to authorized departments based on approved requests.

• Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers, and stock cards.

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, and damaged materials to the appropriate supervisor.

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies.

• Apply appropriate inventory control methods, including First In, First Out (FIFO), where applicable.

• Coordinate with procurement, production, and finance departments to ensure materials are available when needed.

• Prepare periodic inventory reports and maintain proper documentation.

• Ensure the store is clean, organized, secure, and compliant with company safety procedures.
  

Job Requirements

Required experience: At least 5 years of relevant storekeeping experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
Educational qualification: Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supplies Management, Accounting, or another relevant field.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse procedures.

• Strong numerical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel; experience with inventory management software is an advantage.

• High level of honesty, accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records under pressure.
