Turk Gypsum Share Company invites qualified and honest professionals to apply for the following positions in its Finance Department.

Position 1: Cost and Budget Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cost reports and cost-center statements.
• Value inventory, conduct stock counts, and reconcile inventory records.
• Analyze production variances and wastage.
• Prepare annual and monthly budgets and monitor budget performance.

Required Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance, with relevant experience.
• Experience in cost accounting and budget preparation.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and Ethiopian tax regulations.
• Cost-accounting experience in a manufacturing or mining company is an advantage.

Position 2: General Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed-asset records and calculate depreciation.
• Handle monthly and year-end closing, prepare financial statements, and prepare supporting documents for auditors.

Required Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance, with relevant experience.
• Experience in general ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, and monthly closing.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Excel.
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing or mining company is an advantage.

Work Location: Addis Ababa head office, with occasional travel to the Dejen factory and mining site.

Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Amharic and English.
