Woda Vehicle Manufacturing plc is a foreign owned company established in Ethiopia in 2023 located in the Woda Industrial Park, Shager City Administration, Oromia state. Spanning an impressive area of 15000 square meters. Our mission is to be the number one electric vehicle manufacturing brand in Ethiopia.

Position 1 : Junior IT Officer

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; alternatively, a relevant Diploma with the required experience.
• Work Experience: Fresh graduates who have successfully passed the university exit examination are encouraged to apply.

Required Competencies

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network administration.
• Familiarity with database management, data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity principles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, support users effectively, and manage competing priorities.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, software, and other IT equipment.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
• Assist in database management, data organization, system updates, and performance monitoring.
• Implement IT security measures, manage user accounts and access permissions, and update antivirus software.
• Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
• Install, test, and update operating systems, business applications, and database management systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify technical risks, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, technical documentation, and records of IT incidents and maintenance activities.
• Assist with IT system upgrades, capacity planning, and the implementation of new technologies.
• Guide and train employees on the proper use of IT systems, applications, and information security practices.
• Coordinate with relevant departments and external IT service providers to ensure effective technical support.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
• Install, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot company CCTV camera systems, including recording devices, video storage, and network connectivity, to ensure reliable operation and effective security monitoring.

Position 2 : Reserve Maintenance Engineer

Educational Qualification

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

Work Experience

• No work experience required.
• Fresh graduates only.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Interest in vehicle manufacturing and electric vehicle technology.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Creativity and ability to build strong working relationships.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Identify mechanical and electrical faults under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting electric vehicle systems and components.
• Follow workplace safety standards and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support operational improvements.
