15 January 2027 (23:59 CET) Tell Me About the Fellowship Programme: The Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS) is offered by the University of Amsterdam (UvA) to attract outstanding non‑EU/EEA students into its international classrooms. For the academic year 2026-2027 , the scholarship provides €25,900 to support excellent students enrolling in selected LLM Master's programmes at the Amsterdam Law School.

Which Fields are Eligible? The AMS is available for applicants admitted to: International and European Law Transnational and European Private Law Law & Finance International Criminal Law Type: Graduate Scholarship 's | University of Amsterdam, Netherlands Who can Apply?

Applicants must: Hold a non‑EU/EEA passport . Not be eligible for Dutch study grants/loans (Studiefinanciering). Apply to a UvA Master's programme for the first time (AMS not awarded to those who already hold a UvA Master's).

Comply with Dutch visa regulations. Enrol as a full‑time student for the academic year. Belong to the top tier academically (excellent students). How Are Applicants Selected?

Selection is based on: Academic excellence (transcripts and GPA). Motivation letter (max 500 words). CV and overall profile. Compliance with visa and enrolment requirements.
