The Finance Expert will provide technical support in financial management, accounting, budgeting, and fiduciary oversight. The expert will be responsible for conducting financial reviews, budget assessments, internal control evaluations, and fiduciary risk assessments to ensure compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and donor requirements. The role will also support

procurement reviews and contribute to strengthening financial governance, accountability, and risk management frameworks within client organizations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial management, accounting, and budgeting reviews.

• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.

• Undertake fiduciary risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.

• Review budgets, financial reports, and expenditure records for accuracy and compliance.

• Support procurement reviews and assess compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

• Identify financial risks and control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations for improvement.

• Contribute to audit aspects and financial due diligence exercises.

Job Requirements
