• The Caritas Switzerland (CACH), Ethiopia Office has received financing from the Facility Investing for Employment (IFE), which is an investment facility created by KfW Development Bank on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as an integral part of the Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation, toward the cost of the project with the title “Construction of Shaded Market and Processing Business Structures to Enable Ethiopian Entrepreneurs, Oromia, Ethiopia.” Caritas Switzerland hereby invites eligible and qualified contractors to submit sealed and stamped bids for the supply, installation, and construction of the following works: 28 Processing Shades (Type

• Reference No. CACH-4820 The works shall be carried out in Oromia Regional State at the following locations: Adama City, Adama Woreda (Sire Robi), Meki Town, Adami Tullu Jido Kombolcha, Gedeb Hassasa Woreda, Nekemte City, and Gimbi Town. The scope of work as stated in the TOR includes site preparation, construction works, installation, testing and handover in accordance with the approved Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and technical specifications. Bidding will be conducted through an open competitive bidding procedure in accordance with the Procurement Procedures for Recipients of Investing for Employment (IFE) and/or KfW Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and associated Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries (“KfW Guidelines”).

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and collect the bidding documents from the Caritas Switzerland Ethiopia Office, From the date of adverted during working hours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EAT ( East African Time).

Eligible bidders shall submit a valid and renewed trade license, a contractor registration certificate Grade 5 or higher, valid VAT, TIN, and Tax Clearance Certificates, a government recognition letter for bid participation, and a Bid Security (CPO) amounting to 2% of the total bid price from a recognized bank to Caritas Switzerland Name.

Site visit confirmation letter from the responsible government body is beneficial (if available, attach with technical offer).

The evaluation shall be based on Technical Evaluation (70%) and Financial Evaluation (30%). Only bidders scoring a minimum of 75% in the technical evaluation shall proceed to financial evaluation.

Completed technical and financial bids must be submitted in sealed and stamped envelopes to the address below on or before July 06, 2026, at 12:00 PM EAT. Late bids will be rejected.

The bid opening session will take place on July 06, 2026, at 2:00 PM EAT at the Caritas Switzerland Ethiopia Office in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

Financial offers shall be submitted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) and evaluated based on the submitted BoQs.
