HENCA Wood Works & Furniture is seeking a qualified and organized Procurement & Inventory Department Head to lead our procurement and inventory operations, ensure the timely availability of materials, and maintain effective control over purchasing, stock, and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

⁻        Develop and implement procurement plans based on production schedules, project requirements, and operational needs

⁻        Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices

⁻        Manage the procurement of raw materials, furniture accessories, hardware, and other production supplies

⁻        Oversee inventory operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, stock issuance, and physical stock counts.

⁻        Monitor material consumption, stock movement, wastage, and discrepancies and implementing corrective measures as needed

⁻        Coordinate with design and planning, production, finance, and sales departments to forecast material requirements

⁻        Prepare and manage purchase requests, purchase orders, quotations, delivery schedules, and procurement documentation

⁻        Establish procedures for material handling, warehouse organization, stock security, and inventory control

⁻        Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines and material quality

⁻        Lead and supervise procurement and store personnel, ensuring accountability and efficient operations

⁻        Prepare periodic reports on procurement costs, inventory levels, material consumption, and supplier performance

Qualifications and Requirements:

⁻        Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field

⁻        Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations, preferably in furniture manufacturing and wood works or a related manufacturing environment

⁻        Demonstrated ability to manage suppliers, negotiates prices, control inventory, and coordinate material planning

⁻        Knowledge of furniture production materials and related accessories is an advantage

⁻        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems; experience with ERP systems is an advantage

⁻        Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, leadership, and problem solving skills

⁻        High attention to detail, integrity, cost consciousness, and the ability to work under pressure
