BIZMAK is hiring a Sales Manager for MiniSuq, the app for small shops in Ethiopia. Another sales team finds shop owners who want to hear more. You and the people on your team visit those shops, get the owner to start, and set the shop up so they can sell.

You must live in or around Bole. Our office is at Gulf Aziz Building | Bole Medhanialem 2nd Floor

Main role and responsibilities

• Visit shops that the other sales team has already found

• Explain MiniSuq in plain language and get the owner to start

• Sit with the owner and add their products

• Add how the shop gets paid, including Telebirr and their bank

• Leave the shop ready for the owner and staff to sell

• Lead the people who do these visits and this setup with you

• Check back so a new shop keeps using MiniSuq after the first visit

• Keep a clear record of which shops started, which still need a visit, and what slowed them down

Required skills

• Selling face to face with shop owners

• Clear spoken Amharic

• Patience to sit with an owner and finish the setup

• Leading a small team that works in the field

• Keeping track of visits and what was completed

Preferred qualifications

• Experience selling to small businesses in Ethiopia, or helping them start using a new tool

• A bachelor’s degree

• Comfortable working from a phone

• Familiar with how shop owners take Telebirr and bank payments
