1. Inventory & Stock Management

• Receive incoming shipments, verify physical quantities against purchase orders/packing slips, and inspect for damage or defects.

• Organize, classify, and store goods systematically using proper location tagging (bin/rack system) for quick retrieval.

• Issue materials, tools, or products to authorized personnel upon receiving approved requisitions or dispatch orders.

• Perform regular cycle counts and full periodic physical stock counts to reconcile physical inventory with ledger records.

• Monitor stock levels (minimum/reorder points) and notify management or purchasing when stock needs replenishment.

2. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Update inventory management software (ERP, SAP, Excel stock sheets, or WMS) in real-time for all stock movements (inwards, outwards, transfers, returns).

• Maintain accurate records of Goods Received Notes (GRN), delivery notes, store issue vouchers, and stock transfers.

• Track product shelf-life, expiration dates, or batch numbers (applying FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable).

3. Warehouse Safety & Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and safe working environment within the store/warehouse area.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous or delicate materials according to safety guidelines (MSDS/OSHA).

• Operate handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and coordinate routine maintenance.
