About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, energetic, and customer-oriented Cashier / Order Taker to join our team at Isat Burger! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, managing transactions smoothly while using your problem-solving skills to ensure every customer has a great experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Taking & Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take accurate dine-in and takeout orders, and guide them through the menu with confidence.

• Cash & POS Management: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and digital payments efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.

• Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Quickly resolve customer inquiries or order adjustments, handle busy rushes calmly, and troubleshoot minor checkout or operational issues on the spot.

• Coordination: Communicate orders clearly and efficiently to the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation.

• Station Maintenance: Keep the front counter, cashier station, and dining area clean, organized, and welcoming.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Location: Must live around Summit Fiyel Bet or in easily accessible nearby neighborhoods for convenient commuting.

• Experience: Previous experience as a cashier, receptionist, or customer service role in a restaurant or fast-food setting is a strong plus.

• Skills:

  • Strong basic math and cash-handling skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Critical thinking: Ability to think on your feet, handle pressure during peak hours, and make smart, independent decisions.

• Languages: Good command of Amharic; English proficiency is a plus.
