Job Purpose
Responsible for accurate financial records and reporting, maintenance of the general ledger, preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Review and improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls

• Maintain and review the general ledger, journals, accruals, provisions, and prepayments.

• Prepare and review bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Coordinate month-end and year-end financial close processes.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company accounting policies, and statutory requirements.

• Prepare tax computations, returns, and supporting schedules.

• Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.

• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate responses to internal and external auditors.

• Monitor receivables, payables, and outstanding reconciling items.

• Maintain effective financial controls and recommend process improvements.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, or equivalent professional qualification (or significant progress toward qualification) preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, Microsoft Excel, accounting systems and Peachestry. How to Apply
